The Silent Auction
The Silent Auction is a fundraiser for Clay Arts, Utah's Educational Initiative budget. This budget is used to further the teaching of ceramics in the community. This budget has been used to purchase supplies for ceramics classes at a senior center, paid for teachers to visit schools and teach special programs in ceramics, and paid for materials for our annual workshop for school teachers.
Items are donated by the artists of Clay Arts, Utah. You may bid or rebid on items throughout the sale. In addition, all items will have a Buy It Now price. If you must have it, you can buy it for that price and take it home then. The bidding will end at 4 PM on Saturday. Winning bidders will be contacted to complete the sale.
Donations
There are three easy ways to donate an item:
- Bring it to the pottery sale in the morning on Friday, November 26th.
- Bring it to The Petersen Art Center, 1025 East 2100 South, before Friday, November 26th. (Monday and Wednesday mornings or Monday through Thursday afternoons are the best.)
- Let Bill James know you need to make other arrangements or have questions.
